NEXT MARKET: SATURDAY 18 JULY 2026
Bellingen, AU 19 C

Top of the evening or day to you. Trust you’ve been having a good month, staying warm, happy and relaxed.  Winter has arrived along with a mixed bag of wacky weather; warming glorious sunshine one day,  cold rainy the next. It’s hard to predict what’s happening. because it changes so quickly.

As most of you know, Bellingen Markets goes ahead with a bit of rain. It’s only cancelled if the grounds are in a bad way or definite storms are predicted for the day. You will be notified if the market is cancelled and a notice placed on Facebook. If you don’t hear from us, it means we are on. I checked the park today and I will again on Thursday and it’s very doable.  This week Pop is busy laying mulch in areas where its needed and with the predicted days of sunshine ahead of us, we look forward to the park drying out. We very much look forward to you joining us for a fun day of trade, connection, yum food  and fantastic music.

Did you know Saturday 20 June is Winter Solstice giving us the shortest day and longest night of the year. It’s a time we head back to light and warmth,  give thanks,  and celebrate renewal and hope for  brighter, warmer months to come.  Hallelujah!

We very much welcome the positive vibe of the Southwall Trio, hailing from up coast with their very cool blues and roots music. You can see and hear them on stage from 10am-2pm. 2 Triple B Radio will welcome you at the gates while shaking the bucket to raise money for their needed antenna relocation, so please help them where you can.

The exciting news is, permanent stallholder profiles will soon be up and running on our webpage. We are thrilled to share your wonderful products on our website.  Your stallholder webpage profile will be another avenue for you to attract business outside of the market and an excellent platform for making positive connections.  More on this soon.

Look forward to seeing you this Saturday, ready, willing, enthused and able for a good day at Bellingen Markets.

Mat Akehurst ties it all together with ever-steady, intricate percussive feels. The Southwall trio have refined their sound over a decade and bring a unique musical experience to every show.
