Local groovers Juicebox will be playing their original and infectious tunes at the September markets, spreading their funk, disco and soul throughout the market grounds. If you`ve heard them before then you`ll be looking forward to it and if you haven`t, well come down and get on the funky bus.

See and hear them on stage from 10am – 2pm.

The Chrysalis Busking Band is made up of enthusiastic young musicians from Classes 4, 5 and 6 at Chrysalis Steiner School. Performing on violin, viola, cello, piano and percussion, the ensemble brings vibrant acoustic music to the Bellingen Shire. The band has toured to Armidale, Mullumbimby and Byron Bay, as well as performing locally – at the Bellingen Community Markets, the inaugural Bellingen Carols, the Bellingen Show, the Dorrigo Folk and Bluegrass Festival, and the Taranta Festival. They also regularly pop up around Bellingen for spontaneous busking, building confidence, teamwork and joy through ensemble music-making.

They are delighted to share their music at our market this Saturday at 11am in front of the stage. They also have an info table set up on west side of footy oval with kids activities.

North Bellingen Rural Fire Brigade is a friendly and community-focused volunteer brigade helping protect local people, homes, farmland and the beautiful natural environment around Bellingen. Made up of dedicated local volunteers, the brigade responds to bushfires, storms and emergencies while also supporting community preparedness and fire safety education.
