Hope you had a wonderful Easter and managed to have a break. With coolness in the morning and late evening air, I guess winter is on its way, which means cold starts on market morning and hopefully less rain threats on market day. Let there be sunshine and joy every third Saturday of the month.

May you have the support you need to get through these challenging times and if you don’t reach out to your local group and get help. Bellingen Neighbourhood Centre is a good place to start for Bellingen locals. The group will be joining us on the gates shaking the buckets and will also have an info stall.

Try and focus on what’s around you. Stay strong and determined and continue making your family, friend and community space a harmonious and happy place to be. Equality vitality frugality ! 🙂

And talking about vitality, Kaya joins us with his awesome group Samba Soul, who grace the main stage from 10am with newcomer Raj dancing up a storm when the band has a break around 11am. More information below.

As one of Bellingen’s own drum and dance bands since 2010, they have upcoming gigs at River Sounds Festival, and Federal Hotel.

Playing epic melodic bass drums, layered with percussion and cracking high drums, the energy is pulsing with good vibes and fun times.Samba Soul weave ancient musical technology with modern flavours and tempos. Influenced by drumline and the music of West Africa, Brazil, Jamaica, West Indies, Cuba, New Orleans and world wide rhythm practices.

Samba Soul will bring the party and get the dance floor pumping.

RAJI RENSHAW

We’re excited to welcome Raji Renshaw for a special pop-up performance on stage at around 11am Saturday 18 April! (when the band has their first break)

Raji Renshaw, 17, is a model, actor, and dancer represented by ZBD. He has appeared in major campaigns, theatre productions, and screen projects including Ochre & Sky and Teenage Boss. A passionate performer, he advocates for the Down syndrome community, promoting inclusion, visibility, and encouraging others to follow their dreams.

Raji will also be making a guest appearance in MAX TO THE MAX, taking place at the Bellingen Memorial Hall from 3:00PM – 4:30PM on Sunday 26 April.
